The Hambantota District demonstration of the district based series of demonstrations launched by the Teachers’-Principals’ Trade Union Alliance took place in Tangalle today. Representing the alliance, several leaders including Mahinda Jayasinghe, Joseph Stalin, Rev. Yalwela Pagnasekara and Sisira Rajapakse attended the protest, with numerous other participants.
